“The MAPP organization has been extremely helpful for my organization to continuously improve with networking, achieving our cost reduction targets, and benchmarking of fellow MAPP members. I have been part of several other trade organizations, both currently and throughout my career, and I have not found one as comprehensive and committed to providing value to its members as MAPP. The annual Benchmarking Conference in October is one of the best leadership and benchmarking events I have ever attended, including top-of-the-line speakers from outside of the industry and internally innovative and creative ways of attacking problems we are all fighting together. The people engage in MAPP because they want to learn, get better, and be more profitable and although we could be perceived as competitors, we unite excitedly and willingly to attack and solve problems together. In addition, there are multiple benchmarking exercises throughout the year like plant tours of fellow MAPP members, operational best practices like lean layout, PM, error-proofing, EHS, peer networking events, etc. and the list goes on and on. There are no shortages of methods to learn and improve our company. I could not be more excited and proud to be an engaged MAPP member.”
